Hi, I’m Hannah
Ever since I was given my first digital camera as a child, I’ve loved documenting life and beauty around me. This desire to capture beautiful, fleeting moments was amplified when I became a mother. I learned how quickly my babies changed, and I felt an urgency to capture each precious chapter.
I’m passionate about capturing the love I see. The more sessions I complete, the more I’m floored by the love I get to witness as mothers gaze at their newborns, or toddlers snuggle into their parents.
My goal in each sessions is to capture authentic connection. This means sessions with toddlers involve little games and sessions with newborns include cozy snuggles. I believe in “prompting” over “posing” my families to truly capture candid moments.
Thank you for trusting me to capture your family. Each family I work with inspires me as I witness their love and I’m grateful for the friendships and connections I’m blessed with through this work.
The Story Behind the Family Story Archive
I am passionate about not only capturing but also enjoying the moments we cherish. I have been making scrapbooks and photo albums since I was a small girl and have found so much joy and gratitude in this hobby.
I have been on a journey to find the best way to print and share memories. (So much so that, I’ve made and re-made photo albums of my family multiple times in the pursuit of the simplest and best way to create and view our images. I am crazy, I know!) I’ve tried lay flat pages, annual photo albums, yearly summaries and just about everything you can imagine. And after years of testing, I’m here to share the method that has been easy and life-giving to make and so fun for our family to enjoy. This method I’m sharing in the Family Story Archive.
